FEEL GOOD, EAT RIGHT

More on Wheat:

WAUWATOSA, Wis. -- A local doctor is making the bold claim that the key to shedding pounds, reversing diabetes and stopping migraines is to cut out an ingredient that most people believe is healthy.

Dr. William Davis, a cardiologist from Wauwatosa, said the common ingredients are wheat and whole grains.

"Two slices of whole-wheat bread raise sugar higher than a Snickers bar," Davis said.

Watch the video. Make sure you read the comments.
I'll say it again; I've lost 152 pounds because I've cut out wheat and sugars.
ONE HUNDRED FIFTY TWO POUNDS, THAT'S A WHOLE PERSON!
If I can do it, you can do it.

Check out this chart:

"This is a nice new infographic about carbs, insulin and obesity. It’s simplified of course – it focuses only on the peripheral effects of insulin: growing fat cells.

Chronically high levels of insulin also induces something called leptin resistance in the brain. What that does is basically make the brain blind to the fat stores, so that the brain can believe the body is starving even when it’s really obese. It’s a double whammy."

I've talked about the dangers of eating pork. If you need another reason to cut out the pork check out these links:

Check out this article titled Pork: Did Leviticus 11:7 Have It Right?
Pork Consumption and Liver Cirrhosis
Pork consumption has a strong epidemiological association with cirrhosis of the liver. Startlingly, pork may be even more strongly associated with alcoholic cirrhosis than alcohol itself!
We would expect that if pork can cause liver cirrhosis it will also promote liver cancer, since injured and inflamed tissues are more likely to become cancerous.
Indeed, there is an association between pork consumption and the primary liver cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma.

NEED ANOTHER REASON TO AVOID PORK?

"It is said that nature abhors a vacuum. Well, according to this report from the Minnesota Daily, nature also abhors factory farms. Large midwestern hog farms have for the last few years been battling a mysterious foam that is forming on top of their barns. In the worst case scenarios, the foam blocks ventilation ducts and the barns explode — yes, explode — killing the thousands of hogs inside. The report reads"…

Tax payer dollars are being used to try and find a solution to this very dangerous problem, the solution? DON'T EAT PORK!
That should do it for pork. It's bad, don't eat it, EVER! There are plenty of GOOD HEALTHY meats to eat. Beef, chicken, turkey, and lamb.

For those of you that just have to have daily bacon, I would like to recommend what I eat every day with breakfast, turkey bacon. The best turkey bacon I have found is "Wellshire Classic Sliced Turkey" all natural uncured nothing artificial, minimally processed. NO NITRITES! The only place I have found it in my area is at Whole Foods.

UNBELIEVABLE!

Not getting enough fish oil? Not to worry, the good folks at Monsanto, ever looking out for our health, have a new product. Drum roll please…. SOY BEANS WITH FISH OIL.
"Monsanto is growing soybeans that have been genetically modified to produce those omega-3 fatty acids that doctors are always recommending."

Growing your own vegetables is not only good for you, it makes you feel good too. Check out this article:

"Even if you don't love gardening, digging in the dirt may be good for your health -- and it has nothing to do with a love of nature or the wonder of watching things grow. The secret may be in the dirt itself: A bacteria called Mycobacterium vaccae that acts like an antidepressant once it gets into your system. "

WOW, that's a lot to think about.

Feels good and tastes good to eat right.
